Julianne Puzzo
Vice President of Development and Chief Development Officer
Julianne Puzzo joined AKF in July 2014 to oversee the organization's fundraising strategy and regional offices. She is a dynamic development executive with 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has performed roles with increasing responsibilities over the course of her career, developing skills and insights that aid in quick and effective decision making. Ms. Puzzo's skills include fundraising and development, Board recruitment and management, staff management, budget and strategic planning, and all functions necessary to run a multi-million dollar organization.
Ms. Puzzo previously served as senior vice president and chief development officer for the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FARE). During her time at FARE, she increased the organization's fundraising revenue from $13M to $16.5M. Before joining FARE she served as the chief development officer for CureSearch for Children's Cancer where she built out an entire national fundraising program. Prior to her position with CureSearch, she spent seven years at the Washington, D.C., Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where she increased office revenue from $1.2 million to more than $6 million annually.
Ms. Puzzo studied communications at Marist College and political science at Central Connecticut State University.
