We work toward helping people at risk take the steps they need to prevent or slow the progression of kidney disease.
In 2021, we educated more than 266,000 people and professionals through webinars and professional education courses. More than 100,000 resources just for kidney-friendly eating were downloaded last year.
In 2021, we helped more than 80,000 dialysis and recent transplant patients afford health care coverage and other treatment-related expenses.
We make 7% of all kidney transplants in the U.S. possible, and provide assistance to transplant recipients so they can focus on recovery.
For more than 30 years, we've funded the most promising kidney disease researchers through our Clinical Scientist in Nephrology program.
