Laura A Williams, MD, MPH

Dr. Williams is a life science executive with extensive experience as a pharmaceutical drug developer, healthcare policy consultant, portfolio strategist and patient advocate. She is a results-oriented, accomplished, executive leader and physician scientist and board member, with 25+ years of pharmaceutical drug development experience, across all clinical development phases and multiple therapeutic areas (virology [HIV and HCV], cardiovascular, renal, GI, maternal and women's health, including infertility). She has a proven track-record in drug development, as indicated by her contributions on key regulatory approvals (NORVIR®, KALETRA®, ZEMPLAR®, VIEKIRA PAK®, ORILISSA®, ORIAHNN®, VYLEESI® and XPHOZAH®), and her strong leadership skills have been demonstrated in both biotech and large pharma within matrix cross-functional organizational structures. From a Board perspective, she brings strategic focus to clinical development programs necessary for the growth, development and success of both private and public companies, those they serve and the shareholders to whom they are responsible.
