URGENT: Support Research and Cures for Rare Kidney Diseases

Did you know that there are about 150 rare kidney diseases? Sadly, most of them don't have any FDA-approved treatments. Many people with these diseases have difficulty getting the correct diagnosis and care. This can make their kidney problems worse, sometimes leading to kidney failure.

Every 24 hours, 360 people in the U.S. begin dialysis for kidney failure – a grueling treatment needed to survive if you do not get a transplant. In 2022 alone, Medicare spent more than $45 billion on care for people with kidney failure!

We need your help to make things better. We need more research, earlier detection and more treatments for rare kidney diseases. That's why we're supporting H.R. 1518, the New Era of Preventing End-Stage Kidney Disease Act of 2025. This bill will help doctors and patients understand these rare kidney diseases better and help patients get diagnosed faster.
